![]() I did notice that I lost a bit of fuel mileage on the tank with the Star-Tron in it. The further we traveled toward home, the more normal it ran. I didn't use the additive and nearly immediately the bike felt much more normal. We stopped at a Sheetz because the usual station was closed as it was pretty late at night. After, on the way home, I needed to fill up again because we put a lot of miles on. It wasn't missing, but at higher revs, felt like the motor mounts were shot. The 1200 really shook on every stroke and the faster we went, the worse it felt. The engine felt "thumpy", for lack of a better word. Soon after, I noticed that the Sporty was not running as it did. And I was careful to use just how much they say to use, one ounce per every 3 gallons for an initial use. Yes, there's always a first time, but I do doubt it. Never had an issue with the gas and nobody else I know has either. Before anyone comments, the station I got gas at is one I frequent and sells a lot of fuel. ![]() I just decided to use it because we all know how crappy our gas is these days. It only has just over 15,000 miles on it and has never given me a lick of problems since I bought it. ![]() I stopped on the way there to fill up and decided to put in some Star-Tron enzyme fuel additive. Yesterday, the wife and I went on a big charity poker run (nearly 500 bikes). This one kinda surprised me because I used this stuff in a ricer without any problem. ![]()
